Fisher-Price Cruisin' Motion Soother, Pink Reviews
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful A good seat, but not too different than others out there, By This review is from: Fisher-Price Cruisin' Motion Soother, Green/Yellow (Baby Product) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?) Customer Video Review Length:: 2:06 MinsThis is a pretty good baby seat. My daughter is about 7 months old and it's recommended for 0-6 months, but it still holds her just fine! It's nice and sturdy and SUPER easy to put together-which is greatly appreciated-considering some baby gear takes an engineering degree to figure out!! This is the neutral one, so it's light green, blue, and orange. The cover comes off completely and is machine washable, however the head pillow and toys do NOT come off at all, which is a bit annoying. It has a slight motion (which you can sort of see in the video). That is supposed to be the new and different thing about this seat, but it doesn't really bounce that much, so that feature wouldn't entice me to buy this seat over any other out there. The music is very soothing and the volume allows you to turn it up quite loud. The environmental sounds simulate a car noise, I guess to give the full effect of riding in the car. Overall,... I love it. My colicky baby seems to have two settings: sleeping and screaming. We get maybe an hour of "pleasant" baby each day. At night, we've resorted to driving around in the car to get him to sleep. I finally searched for a car motion simulator and found this. I bought it this morning, and it's amazing. In regards to the "non-existent" vibration, it's because the motion wheel is located behind the seat -- and you can't feel it unless you put a little weight in the back of the seat. This does NOT work like a vibrating steel bar bouncer. The car sounds are like driving in the rain with the wipers on. My baby quieted right down when I put him in this and turned on the vibrations and the car sounds. I will say that Babies R Us carries it for $69 instead of $89. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Nice little helper to keep baby soothed, By This review is from: Fisher-Price Cruisin' Motion Soother, Green/Yellow (Baby Product) Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?) Compact, easy to use and mostly effective helper to keep baby occupied while awake. The music offerings are fairly good. The rocking/motion is subtle and seems to work. The little do dads dangling are nice as far as distractions go. Babies aren't always in the mood for rocking/soothing/car ride effects, but when they are this should help. It's something you would keep next to other things to use when baby needs to rest for a bit and hopefully be occupied so other things can happen. Not bad for the price or for what it does. |
