Primarily I bought it because I knew she would LOVE the high chair, but she also enjoys the swing immensly. All the pieces click together, so no tools and hammering or cursing under your breath... When first assembled I tried to tell her to be gentle because it seemed a little flimsy, well after it survived a tug-of-war match between her and her 2.5 yr old brute of a cousin, I ceased to worry. I'm not sure why someone said you had to disassemble the whole thing to convert it... Everything snaps easily into place, and while there is a handle that you have to take out and move to different slots (and that is a little tough to manuver with a 2 yr old jumping and hollering 'swing!' but its honestly ok, and the most difficult part of the whole conversion) that is pretty much the only "dissasembling" that need be done.
