This review is from: Little Mommy Gotta Go Doll (Toy)

My daughter saw the commercial and fell in love with the doll and her cute song. It was the same song I sang to her when she was learning to potty, what a coincidence! I should have had it trademarked, oh well. Anyway, I spent about 10 minutes playing with the doll and noted all of her sayings.

I also noticed that the toilet seat is really a button, and when you place the doll on the toilet it activates the button and there must be a sensor too, as the doll "knows" when to pee and p00p and won't say anything pee or p00p related unless she is on the toilet. She also doesn't always say p00p things, only about half the time she's on, which is like a real kid, they don't p00p every time. She may also fool you, saying she has to go, then you put her on the toilet and she'll say, "Nope, no potty."

There must also be a sensor that tells when she is vertical or horizontal, as she says sleepy things when she is reclining or lying down. I also noticed that if you ignore... Read more

Initially a let down, but it worked!, November 10, 2008

This review is from: Little Mommy Gotta Go Doll [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] (Toy)

I was initially disappointed with the toy but things worked out for us in the end.

Cons: The shelves never stay on (we glued them) and the whole thing falls over easily (we kept the back drop of the box and rest it in there). The doll goes through its round of phrases, sometimes completely contradicting what my daughter is actually doing with her. The toilet almost never flushes to the clean image the first time, and often not even the second time (my daughter doesn't mind but it drives me crazy). Also, the doll only makes the sounds that she is going potty if you get her on the sit just right.

Pros: No mess. Play includes having the doll go pee and poop (important with our very resistant child). Any doll or toy can be put on the potty and it will trigger the switch so it looks like they went. The doll can be turned off for "free" play (though having her on when brushing her teeth is hilarious).

I gave it 4 stars because, well, it worked! The night... Read more

Fun toy, November 10, 2008

This review is from: Little Mommy Gotta Go Doll [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] (Toy)

My daughter, who is almost four, loves this doll. She is not a doll lover and never showed any interest in dolls until this one. She has played with it every day. It makes her laugh, and she talks to it. It is expensive at $50, but since this was her first doll request I caved in. My daughter loves brushing the doll's teeth, giving her a drink (and my daughter has figured out that pushing the dolls tongue triggers the drinking sounds and finds it extremely funny that the doll will "eat" the tooth paste or anything else she puts in her mouth). The pee/poop sounds also make her laugh, especially when the doll says "oh that is stinky". I agree with the other reviewer about the shelves, they don't stay on. I kept the back drop as well and left the toilet and sink attached at the bottom. This adds stablity. Plus it makes it look like a little bathroom. I wasn't interested in this doll because my daughter is already potty trained, but she loves it. My daughter has a little trouble... Read more

Perfect for those times when we need a distraction while food is being prepared, July 28, 2012

This review is from: Infantino Stick and Play Highchair Toy (Baby Product)

I purchased this because my son loves to play with toys in his high chair, while he waits for me to bring him his food. I was giving him toys to play with, but he kept throwing those on the floor. This one suctions to the high chair table and keeps him distracted just long enough for me to get his food. My son has a tendency to get bored very quickly, so this holds his attention for at least 5 minutes. The flower rotates and there are five cute little things on them (one mirror, a butterfly, a swirly, a bumble bee, and a petal). My son loves the wings on the bumble bee and also the center ball (which rolls too). I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a distraction for their child while they are in their high chairs.

Good toy but doesn't stick., July 16, 2012

I did not buy this at Amazon, but wanted to rate it for future purchasers.
I bought it to stick on high chair tray to keep my grandaughter interested while I made her food. It stuck for a couple of seconds, but was quickly pulled off. It is useless as a high chair toy. High chair tray is smooth and not textured so that was not the problem
However, my grandaughter really likes this toy and so I hold it while she plays with it. She will sometimes play with it on her own.
I would rate it zero stars for a high chair toy, and three stars as a toy, so I settled on two stars as a compromise

Great idea, but has some flaws., March 29, 2009

This review is from: Snap 'N Style Babies - Dinnertime Time For Dalia (Toy)

I was looking for a product like this. My daughter loves to dress little dolls, but is too young for the polly pocket dolls. She needed something easier. I was thrilled when I found this. I'm surprised though that this has the Fisher Price label. Their products are generally very well thought out down to the last detail. What I don't like: The doll fits into the high chair very tightly. If the doll's feet are not properly pushed down, the tray won't close. Explain that to a two year old! Lots of frustration needless to say, for something that could be fixed with a 1/4 inch of plastic. Also, the way the tray closes, it always looks lopsided, like it's not completely closed. Another thing I don't like is that the high chair tray has food and a bottle built into it. My daughter insisted that she needs to feed the doll with that bottle. She was really upset when she realized that it does not detach.

Personally I don't care for the big head of the doll with the... Read more

FOr Christmas I purchased these for my almost 2 year old. SHe loves them all! THey are durable and fun, and something her tiny fingers can do herself since she always wants to do things by herself!

that said I only paid $12 each at regular FULL price for the 3 different sets at TRU so it is way over priced here ...

Great idea for little sisters who want to play with their big sister, January 17, 2010

This review is from: Snap 'N Style Babies - Dinnertime Time For Dalia (Toy)

We got our 16 month old a few of these snap and style dolls for Christmas this year. She is at that ackward age where she wants to play with small toys like her big 4 year old sister, but still puts everything in her mouth. These dolls were perfect! Small yet not a choking hazard. She doesn't yet understand how to snap on their clothes, so we put them away for now, but she loves to change their hats and take them in and out of the highchair and crib, I even caught her feeding Dalia with a spoon of hers. I have even caught my 4 yr old who loves polly pocket size things playing with these dolls when her little sister is napping.
I found them much cheaper in the stores, but highly recommend them for little girls starting age 1 1/2 -3ish. Cute!
