4 of 4 people found the following review helpful Strong Gate and Great Value, February 3, 2011 By  DiaperDad - See all my reviews This review is from: Regalo Guardian Expandable Gate, White (Baby Product) I bought this gate about three months ago because it was a great price, offered the needed width, and thought it would be better then those cheap plastic expandable gates. This gate was extremely easy to set up and take down, and it is great to step over as well. I thought the metal would hold up better against kids and puppies and it has. I had experience with a cheap plastic expandable that got absolutely destroyed within weeks. It was chewed by our then puppies and not sturdy enough to keep our kids safe. Overall, this gate has held up better than expected and is a great price! I would defiantly recommend this gate. This review is from: Regalo Guardian Expandable Gate, White (Baby Product) I got two of these gates because I wanted something we could step over and also needed something our dogs couldn't chew up or climb over. We had the wood and mesh gates, but they chewed the mesh and used it as a "ladder" to climb. So with these metal gates, they can't do either. As for the gates themselves, I'm not at all fond of the locking mechanism. unlike the wooden gates where you select your width and then push down the pressure bar, on these there is a plastic clip with a metal "ball" that is supposed to lock into a particular hole (after you've selected your width) then you use a plastic (not very sturdy) pressure screw to tighten the gate. Hard to describe but with these gates as I tighten the pressure mechanism to tighten the gate against the walls, the metal ball or clip, whatever it is, pops out of place and the gate loosens up and falls down. I'm strongly considering returning them both. Bowe - See all my reviews    Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Regalo Guardian Expandable Gate, White (Baby Product) After two weeks of using it, we returned this. It's too heavy and bulky for us. If you are going to be moving it more than once a day, don't get this as it may be too heavy for you too. I got a bamboo and plastic one thats half the weight and seems as sturdy so far. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful Great looking bouncer and easy to clean!, February 27, 2011 By  Janine N. Martin "Objectivist Lover" (Iowa City, IA) - See all my reviews    This review is from: Fisher-Price Playtime Bouncer, Precious Planet (Baby Product) Overall very satisfied with this bouncer. The pattern is bright like kids like but not overwhelming like may childrens items tend to be. This can be out without being an eyesore. My child loves to sit in it and it was useful as way to get him to settle down at night without me constantly having to hold and sway with him. The only drawback I found with this bouncer is that my son didn't seem to be too interested in the plastic toys that hung closer to his hands. He is 3 months now and when he hits the toys it upsets him more than interests hims. I actually propped the overhang up so that his legs can kick the hanging toys which he highly enjoys. I wish the overhang was adjustable so that he could kick the toys with his legs when he was in the bouncer. I think then this toy would have been a perfect 10... This review is from: Fisher-Price Playtime Bouncer, Luv U Zoo (Baby Product) I can`t say much about it but my baby would if he could. He just loves it and the best thing about it is the possibility of rocking him along with the calming vibrations. The cover can be washed and it makes it simple in case of wet accidents which are common in the beginning. I bought this one instead because my neighbor had the same one and it has been one of the most-used things in the house. My son loves to bounce himself now that he is bigger. This will make your life easier! Not all bouncy chairs are created equal. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you?  Report abuse | Permalink  Comment

14 of 14 people found the following review helpful gets the job done, May 10, 2010 By  Shannon B Davis "Nepenthe" (Arlington, MA United States) - See all my reviews          Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Fisher-Price Precious Planet Portable High Chair Cover, Blue (Baby Product) This highchair cover isn't padded or thick. It's simple to put on, folds up into a package that fits into a diaper bag, and does the job of covering a high-chair at a restaurant. I like it for that. I've seen thicker ones that are more padded. That might be better for a younger child who needs extra stability. It also doesn't double as a shopping cart cover, so you'd have to get a separate one of those. There's nothing wrong with this product, but it doesn't have anything that makes me want to rate it 4 or 5 stars. It is literally "just OK." On the upside, it's inexpensive. Mufti (Jeddah, JED Saudi Arabia) - See all my reviews    Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Fisher-Price Precious Planet Portable High Chair Cover, Blue (Baby Product) This thing saves time since my wife no longer sprays public high chairs with anti-bactrial sprays and rub the chair to find out a layer of back stuff come out. Disgusting :s The cover is not padded. Because of that, it is light, washible and foldable. It comes with an integrated pocket so you can fold the whole thing into that pocket and you're ready to go! The straps are short, I wish they were longer, but not really a big deal. Applebaum - See all my reviews    Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Fisher-Price Precious Planet Portable High Chair Cover, Blue (Baby Product) This is the third high chair cover I have owned, and it is the best one yet. I love that the material allows you to wipe it clean, unlike the Babe Ease cover. I also love that it folds up into itself. The two tether straps are great for younger babies, as you can attach a couple of toys to keep them busy. My only complaint is that the seat belt holes are too small for the clasps of any high chair I've tried, and they are on the back of the cover, rather than on the seam between the sides and the seat (where the straps come on the chairs).
