Flipping through the pages of the book, babies can hear the story from beginning to end, or learn about the different objects and characters on each page.

The chair's friendly characters reinforces your baby's learning and imagination with musical ditties, silly sounds, and entertaining responses. For instance, you can tap the crayons for a "colorful" song and speech. With a volume control, the songs and stories can even play quietly as it gets close to nap-time -- and for your own sanity.

He plays with it on a daily basis. I would love to give it 5 stars across the board; however, I get a little worried when he plays with it. When he pulls up on the chair, it has turned over on him a few times. It's only if the pulls up on the part that has the lamp and book. It's sorta heavy on this side and him pulling up there makes it tumble. He hasn't gotten hurt, just a little frightened by falling backwards. Now when he goes near it, I always put my hand on the back of the chair to make sure it doesn't fall over. If they'd put a little more weight on the back of it, it would be more stable. They say a child can choke or get their neck stuck. Once you get the recall piece it is just fine. My daugher had this since she was about 9 months and is now 2. From then until now she is still very interested. She says all the aminal names and noises. She likes to turn the clock. Very fun and also a nice chair to sit to watch cartoons or her shows. Very durable too. It did come with the repair piece for the recall. However, I am not sure how any child's head could get caught, unless they were younger than the recommended age of 12 months. The spot between the chair and table is large enough for an arm, but not for a head. My daughter likes to stand around it and play with everything. I'm sure she will decide to sit on it at some point. I have changed the batteries since I got it 1.5 months ago, but she uses it all day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! It says it's a 4 in 1 system but you basically will get more use out of 2 things the highchair and the swing. The other two are infant and toddler chairs.......my baby is 5 months old but I never used the infant chair so I probably won't use the toddler chair either. The swing works great,it swings in one direction as opposed to others that swing from front to back and side to side, has no music ,though you can't ask much more for the price ........so I`m happy. It was really easy to assemble all the different bases. My son is now 4 months old and he LOVES the swing. I've gone through 3 sets of batteries in 4 months and for how much we use it that doesn't seem too bad. When the batteries are dying you do have to push it a little to make it go faster, but with fresh batteries the highest setting goes pretty fast. The swing makes a low tick-tock sound that I never really noticed until I heard it over the baby monitor; it's very soothing almost like a heartbeat. I have not used the high chair yet, but I'm glad I won't have to buy one separately since it's included in the package. I would recommend this product to be bought for a gift or to buy for yourself. I love it! *Update* The swing takes 4 C batteries. My son is now 12 months old and I have been using this as just a high chair. I was fortunate enough to get this as a gift from my mom right after I had my son. It is super easy to put together and a breeze to transition from one use to another. It also travels well since it breaks down and goes together easy. I saw the two reviews that didn't give it five stars primarily because of the swing speed. I have to disagree. The only time the swing speed may be an issue is if the batteries are getting low. Also, when they start getting to the maximum weight for the swing it goes a little slower but I think that can be expected since there is an obvious difference in moving 7 pounds and 20 pounds. Anyhow, my son loved the swing and it was a life saver. Even now that he's approaching one he does great in the high chair and toddler chair.
